notes…

Just a small note before Shortcuts goes down for rebuilding (yes, really):

I’m one of the modestly converted - I like Flock. Even as a beta, it shows decent speed, but more…promise. I love the integrated blogging tool (using it now) and it’s made some processes easier. There are problems, of course - formating is busted and it hasn’t any proper keyboard controls in the editor as yet, but it’s certainly inspired enough for me to make it the daily driver.
I’ll be updating to at least 1.32 (possibly a 1.4 beta) of ExpressionEngine, my tool of choice. The big difference is that I’ll actually do something with it here - I just installed it as a whim and played a bit. Blogging is not a serious persuit for me - I prefer to build CMSs than to post in them, it seems. I’m rolling out EE and pMachine sites at a decent rate now so I can actually spend a little time on my own needs.
When? Well, I still have 3+ weeks of vacation time to use for this year. I might take some time off. Soon. Perhaps.

If you need me, you can get me in the usual ways, but Shortcuts will return in the format I originally intended…what that will be, you’ll have to see!
