Ushi Lang, call home! Insane 5th Ave Apple Store opening..

image
Insane crowds for the opening of a store. Admittedly, it’s an Apple Store, and it’s in a cool part of New York City (uptown, 5th Ave, in the “Holly Go Lightly” district), and…damn! The crowds were insane! Apple posted a time-lapse of the first 24-hours of the mayhem…but did you see the secret message?

Go to http://www.apple.com/retail/fifthavenue/gallery/timelapse.html (UPDATED) to see the video overview. Watch closely - you’ll see a guy flash by.

Go to the 05:00 time mark and play it from there?

Things have been quiet. Here’s why…

Life tosses you monkeys, so you build monkey bars…

Well it’s been a while between posts. Why?

* New girlfriend
* New apartment
* 4 web projects at work (portal, streaming media environment, rfid, online auction) & 2 at home (a walking site and ooogabooga. Please shoot me.)
* Oops - newer girlfriend
* Tax authorities who can’t count and don’t recognise when you pay them.
* Painting, cleaning, shopping
* Couches and curtains - why do these take to long to buy?
* Now no girlfriend
* Scala enterprise training
* Changing every address, every service, everywhere

Hopefully we can get back to this soon.
